Nissan earns most wins in AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards

For the second year in a row, Nissan earned a literal handful of awards at the AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. With more best-in-category wins than any other brand, Nissan is proud to continue to bring loyal drivers vehicles that make their drives more enjoyable, convenient, and comfortable. The VSA is a nationwide survey of over 58,000 new 2017 and 2018 cars and light trucks that looks at 40 attributes ranging from interior quality to driving performance. It provides objective insight into what vehicles provide an optimal and satisfying ownership experience.

“Not only does Nissan have the most brand wins for the second year in a row, the Maxima and Murano have been unbeatable since their redesigns were introduced to the market,” said George Peterson, the president of AutoPacific.

Nissan boasted five award-winning cars this year with three of those vehicles earning for the second year in a row or more and two earning a VSA for the first time. Leading the pack the 2018 Murano in the premium midsize crossover SUV category for the fourth straight year, the 2018 Maxima in the luxury midsize car category for the third year in a row, and the 2018 TITAN took home the light-duty pickup category top prize for the second straight year. For the first time ever the all-new 2018 LEAF dominated in the mainstream EV car category and the stunning 2018 370Z rose to the top in the sports car category.

The AutoPacific VSA Awards provide a unique picture of how both brands and individual models are doing in terms of satisfying customers every day,” said Brandon White, the director and chief marketing manager of Nissan North America, Inc. “It’s great to see Nissan vehicles come out on top in a wide range of categories – sedans, crossovers, full-size trucks, electric vehicles and sports cars.”

The 2018 Murano embodies the future of Nissan’s design direction – showcasing the V-motion front end, LED signature boomerang lights, and the new floating roof. The striking design cues carry through to the interior where you’ll discover a spacious lounging area, zero-gravity front and outboard rear seating, and an oversized panoramic moonroof that lets you bring the destination in the vehicle with you. Murano is the only vehicle in the 2018 VSA study with four consecutive honors.

In its eighth generation, the flagship 2018 Nissan Maxima sedan offers more tech with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and more performance thanks to an upgraded engine and available sport-tuned suspension. The 300-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine pairs with an Xtronic transmission that offer ample responsiveness power when you’re ready to pass slow pokes on your commute.

The 2018 TITAN is Nissan’s most capable vehicle weighing in at a half-ton and powered by a 390 horsepower 5.6-liter Endurance V-8 engine. There are plenty of configurations that allow you to pick the version that suits you best. The TITAN is available in a roomy Crew Cab, versatile King Cab and work-site-ready Single Cab configurations, and each is available in two- or four-wheel drive. All TITAN and TITAN XD models are covered by bumper-to-bumper coverage for five years or 100,000-miles, whichever comes first (stop by for additional warranty details).

Fresh from the redesign room, the all-new, second-generation 2018 Nissan LEAF is a showpiece of the future of the portfolio. It combines a greater range with a dynamic new design and advanced technologies to create the ultimate EV package. The 2018 LEAF offers an EPA estimated 151-mile range, and the new e-powertrain produces 147 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque, providing improved acceleration and driver enjoyment.

The 2018 370Z offers new tech under the hood and provides the same classic touch you expect in the cockpit. All 370Z Coupe models come with a 332-horsepower 3.7-liter V-6 engine and a choice of a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed automatic transmission with available paddle shifters. Have a seat in an innovative driver-centric three-layer interior design that groups items by how a driver sees information, operates the controls, and is held in place.
