For an all-electric vehicle with everyday driveability, a spacious cabin, and quiet, supple ride, choose the 2018 Nissan Leaf. This compact car has an EPA-rated 150-mile range making it feasible for commuters, but more importantly, the great low-end power and the ultra-responsive engine make it fun to drive around town. Take a look at the coming features on this outstanding vehicle and see how it could help you turn over a new leaf on your thoughts about electric vehicles.

The 2018 Nissan Leaf packs a 40-kWh battery pack that boasts an output of 147 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. From the moment you put your foot down on the pedal, you get 100% of the available torque immediately, giving this a spirited engine that’s fun to drive. And with the 240Volt Fast Charging Dock and available 6.6 kW onboard charger, you can refuel up to 22 miles of range in just one hour. Just plug in, charge up, and then take off.

Inside the 2018 Leaf is a central console that’s packed with technology to make your commute easier. There’s a customizable infotainment touchscreen “floating” on the dash within easy reach that syncs quickly and easily with your Android or Apple device. And with the helpful Nissan ProPILOT Assist, you can make light work of everyday stop and go traffic. This system can take care of the little things, like following the car ahead of you at a preset distance or helping keep you stay centered in your lane. It can even bring the vehicle to a complete stop based on the traffic flow and hold you there.

The Leaf makes it easy to maintain your electric vehicle with the NissanConnect® EV App. It helps you find your next charging station if you’re out and about in the city, allow you to keep tabs on your Leaf by checking what percent charged it is, and can even start the car for you, so it’s at the perfect temperature when you arrive at it. You can even check the traffic report before taking off so you can plan the perfect route every time.
